LOJO's Deskscape for UH Architecture Featured in Texas Architect
- 07.15.15
- Our reception desk for the University of Houston College of Architecture is featured in the July/August issue of Texas Architect, on Makers.
Ben Koush writes on three Texas architecture firms engaged in making. "Three up-and-coming Texas architectural practices are showing that bigger isn't always better. Recent projects from Austin-based MF Architecture and Houston firms Metalab and LOJO [along with Cord Bowen] nimbly navigate the hazy areas between interiors, installation art, and furniture." We designed the desk in collaboration with Cord Bowen; it was fabricated out of CNC-milled Corian and reconstituted ebony by Brochsteins Custom Architectural Woodwork.
