First Ward Arts District Warehouse Rehabilitation

The Silos are a rehabilitation of the old Mahatma/Success Rice warehouse in Houston's First Ward. The old grain silos at the center of the project have acted as a kind of informal monumental marker for the light-industrial district, sitting in between two sets of rail tracks.

The building will become a creative workspace with a new art gallery in the silos themselves, as a part of a thorough redevelopment of the First Ward.
